Would you buy beauty products on ebay if a bit cheaper there than in shops?

to tell you truth i would NEVER..Would you buy beauty products on ebay if a bit cheaper there than in shops?
I wouldn't buy anything from ebay, but then I wouldn't buy makeup anywhere else either!Would you buy beauty products on ebay if a bit cheaper there than in shops?
no i wouldn't. i would not be sure if the products were genuine and wether they had been used.
yes as long as they were the same product and i was assured that i got what i ordered instead of what they sent,... with the high prices for make-up and perfume i need all the help i can getting discounts from ordering online,.,.,.,. lol
Oh yeah definitely if it's genuine!
Remember that beauty products expire (3 to 6 months, sometimes a year) and that it might have been used by someone else, making the product unhygienic and not safe for you, also, some products can be exposed during shipping to too much heat or cold, changing the chemistry of the product, altering the color or damaging the product altogether. Also, you should always know what are the ingredients of the product, because if the don't have a tag, you could be using cosmetic that has a product you might be allergict to. (e.g. Aloe vera, I'm allergict to it, and a lot of products use it.) So you might be getting the products cheaper, but you are risking a lot by saving a few coins.
I have bought cosmetics from eBay so many times .... and I'd say I have been satisfied with the products all the time

here is how I do it (but that's just me of course)

- I only buy from eBay shops, not private sellers so there is less chance the product has been used / tried (';just for testing it on the back of my hand';... yeah right). Check the photo or ask them to send you one via e-mail

- I check their feedback carefully and especially their negative/neutral comments on toolhaus.org (really useful for power sellers)

- I always contact the seller before buying the product with a simple question like shipping costs to UK or packaging etc. to see if they react promptly and how courteous/helpful they are

- I never bid but buy with ';buy now'; after research on the RRP on merchant websites (don't forget to add shipping costs). If it costs the same or just a little less (let's say a few pounds less) I prefer buying it in the shops as there is always a little risk with the post that the goods never arrive and you have to wait for it (time is money) ! so for 3 quid I just leave it !

- I never buy testers or samples (especially samples made by people themselves transferring small amounts of their own full size product into weird containers) - always check that it says clearly ';brand new in box'; on the eBay listing.

- Be realistic. If you see expensive brands at really low prices it's certainly fake / or past its sell by date. I know a friend who bought some really cheap Shiseido cream and we found out they used empty jars filled up with Nivea cream (the smell was obvious and we compared with original product).

- You can trust MOST of the US eBay stores (with good FB of course) as it is completely forbidden to sell used cosmetics there (breach of the FDA regulations). Be wary of products coming from eBay France's private sellers, 9 out of 10 have previously been used.

- Don't spend too much with the same seller (1 or 2 products only) especially with the ones you don't know ! sounds obvious but ...

Happy shopping
nope..

1 it wont b cheaper once u pay S%26amp;H

ur just better off goin to sally or a salon to buy beauty products
You can't know how old these products are. Nor whether they've been sitting in metal shipping containers in the heat. There's no way to ascertain whether these products still have their efficacy, integrity, or whether they may not be dangerous (or blemish or rash inducing) to apply to the skin, eyelashes, etc, due to chemical changes during storage. Perfumes go off very quickly in light and and heat, too.

Even worse are the products that might not necessarily be sealed. Hello fungus, germs, bacteria....

I think for things like that a few dollars/pounds/yuan whatever, are worth it. Aren't you worth it?
if the products were used, then no. i dont use anything from anyone else except my mother. if the products were about to go out of date or were just discontinued, then yes i would give it a shot and i would try to products.
i wouldnt because you can guarentee they are geniune. id rather pay full price than risk it. try www.strawberrynet.com

they have pretty cheap brands ive shopped there and its great service
Of course. I have bought plenty on ebay, and have never been unhappy with any products. I would not however, buy anything that is not brand new. If you check the sellers feedback, it usually gives you a fair idea of the seller and their past products from the buyers. If you're careful and observant, you can't go wrong.
no, because you never know if they added any weir substances or if ur skin is alergic to them
no. I don't suggest you do either. You never know what the people selling it might have done to it.
Hi no not really as they are probably not new and then you have to pay postage so it cost more anyways,
