I have considered it, just to shy to walk into the store and ask for what I should use. Also, just the thought of how I would feel if someone knew or I could see the makeup on my face. It would have to be hardly noticeable. I know you said ';Ladies';, but I couldn't resist.
No he doesn't. He does sometimes come to me and ask if i have something, for example, for dry hands and i give him my hand cream otherwise no. He doesn't bother about beauty products the way us ladies do.

Beauty products help?
i need to even out my skin tone, on my face. i was wondering if there was a cream that did that. not a makeup product. i know i can get cover up or foundation, i just need a creme or lotion that does the job. (and as a side note, something that doesnt make me tan like all the ';gentle glow'; lotions. i rather like my ivory complexion =p )

I also think the way makeup is applied matters as well, if you do not do a air brush type of product, I really think that a good foundation brush makes a lot of difference in how the product looks ....I love mine. It did take a while to get use to but I wouldn't go back to a sponge ever.....And good eye brushes are important ...I think they way they are angled that each one serves a purpose and gives you a certain look.

The beauty products on sale in the market are mainly produced by huge companies that would not risk their name/firm/brand for doing what you think they do...

I once saw an advert for a documentary where they chopped a dogs front legs off to see if it could still walk without them like humans as supposedly we're the only animal that can do certain things but it proved to be wrong with that test. I don't understand how people can hurt such an innocent thing.

Organic facial/beauty products vs. regular?
Hi everyone I'm at the very beginning of my modeling career and I wanted to know if I should invest in organic skin products or just buy regular over the counter ones. Your advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Organic facial/beauty products vs. regular?
You have to find the products that work to you. I have found a balance between organic and over the counter. The only thing you have to worry about is if you have sensitive skin or allergies. If your modeling your skin will be going through some rough stuff, thick makeup, harsh weather conditions etc...
Burts bees is a great organic product line. I don't use their lotion on my face because it has vegetable fat, but the rest is great. Cetephyill and Eucerin are both wonderful products that you can buy in any drug store. I would also recommend using at least one product with salicylic acid and a product with benzoyl peroxide ( a lotion with these ingredients is the best way to go), just to keep blemishes at bay. I do not like St Ives and see no results at all after using it.

Using natural ingredients are good for relaxation, but it won;t give you lasting results. Masks and creams which are processed have thousands times the amount of ingredients per unit than natural things. They can't compete. If you want to see real results, you should use processed masks and creams, and put vitamins and other things inside of you, by eating them!

I find the St. Ives and Freeman鈥檚 products pretty good, especially the Apricot Scrub from St. Ives and the foot products from Freeman鈥檚. As for exfoliating neck area- don鈥檛 use the grainy stuff, the neck is too delicate for it. If you can make homemade facial products that鈥檚 great, they are probably healthier and less expensive than store bought stuff.

Make up: Loreal Voluminous mascara, Benefit stick foundation, Nars lip glosses, eye shadows, blush in orgasm and bronzer in Laguna, MAC eye shadows, Laura Mercier tinted moisturizers and Essie nail polishes!

I am on a search for the best beauty products. I want to know the best moisturizing moisturizer (I live in the desert and my skin is VERY dry. It sucks up a handful of moisturizer rather quickly, on my FACE) I also need to know the best earth/eco friendly shampoo and conditioner that seriously hydrates, and lip balm that can cure the most cracked and dried up lips. 10 points to the person that gets all of these in one question.Best Beauty Products, Ever?!?

Moisturizer - the very best i have ever used (sort of pricey) is a skin care brand called [comfort zone] it is incredible!!!! I love the hydro-memory cream for the day time. it is light enough to wear under makeup but totally does the job. (I lived in Vegas for about 5 years). Night time moisturizer hands down Renight Cream. I have used in the day for extreme circumstances, but it is fabulous!!!! it is rich and creamy, and rejuvenates my skin like non other. if you are looking for a moisutrizing face wash - try Milk insant cleanser. Awesome!! I used less creams when i began using a moisturizing wash.
Shampoo/Conditioner - A brand called Eufora. all of the products are aloe vera based and extremely environmentally responsible. They are concentrated so no need to use alot and the company is based in California (familiar with dry area as well) Ok so I reccommend Moisture cleanse shampoo and Moisture Solution conditioner. If your hair is in need of a serious ';drink of water'; then try urgent repair conditioner 1 time a week. Fantastic!!!!!
Lip balm - i would try exfoliating your lips first to get rid of all the dried yuckies (again this helps tremendously) then apply a lip balm. Ok i have used Mary Kay's lip exfoliant and balm system it was great. and also drug store brands such as sally hansen carry a similair item. i apologize that i don't know the exact names of these products but they worked beautifully.

Pure Vanilla Healthy Lip Butter SPF 8 by Lavanila is amazing it moisturizes lips and smells so yummy!
For very dry skin, my Dr. recommend cetaphil cleanser/moisturizer.
For dry hair, try Dove shampoo and conditioner. For a deep moisturizing try neutrogena. They have pretty good products for dry hair.
For dry lips, Camex lip balm, works wonders
Since carmex doesn't work try Vaseline or Burt bee's lip balm, both are good and natural.

My face gets extremely dry as well (and I don't live in the desert!) I find that moisturizing first begins in the cleansing of your face so here are some products and tips that I live by:
-The cleanser I use is Aveeno Positively Radient (evens my skin tone and but doesn't make my face dry;everything from this line is awesome and eco friendly)
-for dry skin I recommend something with petroleum in it (I know people say it clogs the pores, but I find it's the only thing that keeps my skin non-ashy)
1. for my face I use Vaseline products and Olay Active Hydrating Lotion for combination/oily skin (not together tho)
-Lip Balm: I got this Aveeno Essential Lip Moisture that came with my sunscreen that is great (it's SPF 15 too)
-Shampp/Condi: Paul Mithchell Tea Tree line of products works well

My face gets extremely dry as well (and I don't live in the desert!) I find that moisturizing first begins in the cleansing of your face so here are some products and tips that I live by:
-The cleanser I use is Aveeno Positively Radient (evens my skin tone and but doesn't make my face dry;everything from this line is awesome and eco friendly)
-for dry skin I recommend something with petroleum in it (I know people say it clogs the pores, but I find it's the only thing that keeps my skin non-ashy)
1. for my face I use Vaseline products and Olay Active Hydrating Lotion for combination/oily skin (not together tho)
-Lip Balm: I got this Aveeno Essential Lip Moisture that came with my sunscreen that is great (it's SPF 15 too)
-Shampp/Condi: Paul Mithchell Tea Tree line of products works well

The prices seem to be the same or lower....and I live in a small town, my car is dead and will not get fixed for a long time, has anyone used any on line service for buying beauty products? You can sell almost anything on ebay if you can find a willing buyer. I can't imagine someone selling 12 ounces of shampoo from a 16 ounce bottle and finding a buyer.
You could try ... you'd have to describe it properly otherwise they'd have you for selling an item 'not as described,' but if there were any possible hygiene issues I can't imagine people buying them. So a part-used bottle of perfume that didn't suit you might move, but anything that came into contact with the skin I don't think would attract buyers.
I definately wouldn't want to purchase used beauty products. I always prefer to try beauty products before I buy them too. That way you only end up with products that you love ans colours that suit you. I would never buy products on line - and I am also wary of the department store samplers, there are some serious contamination risks there.

I would say that as good as clinique and chanel are, if you are on a budget then go for some cheaper products.
I wouldnt say that a chanel foundation is particularly any better than a rimmel one and the rimmel one will cost nearly a quarter of the price of chanel. A lot of the times you are just paying for a label not necessarily the quality of makeup.
I would deffinately say try out me me me, gosh, mabelline and rimmel before going for the more expensive brands.
I have a little bit of everything in my makeup collection from chanel to collection 2000 although i will never sway away from clinique and lancome mascara as they are awesome.

u can even make your own home made lotions for daily use, the problem is .... these lotions and creams will last upto 1 month to 2 months but the good thing is they are pure and as you are making so you will know wht u have put in it.
as a working lady i use many things home made and regular market products all is the matter of time :)

GHD hair straightners/stylers. I have very thick, very long, wavy hair. These stylers are my absolute... Oh God my first pair broke and I criedddd like a baby. They just straighten my hair into a silky sheet instantly, or curl it for those evenings out. It takes so much less effort than my previous straightners, and is better fo rmy hair which I keep in tip top condition with Tigi Serum (another fave) and aussie-mate products. I recommend to all luscious long-haired babes!
';never a dull moment'; exfoliator by origins. Its quite expensive but its the best exfoliator by far and makes my skin as soft and smooth as a new born babies bum!
Baby lotion - that's all I use for my skin and it looks great! Expensive skin creams are a complete rip off.

I am thinking about signing on to sell Avon/Mark beauty products. To sell avon, are there any monthly fees that I have to pay each month to be able to sell? I know I have to buy my catalogs and samples and so on, but is there a monthly fee? If I sell just mark products, I know I have to pay $20 to get started, are there any monthly fees with mark? Here's my question:
Would you give up using your favourite beauty products (you've been using them for years) if you would find out they are tested on animals?

Abolutely. I gave up most of the beauty products I'd grown up with when I became vegetarian, %26amp; from time to time still drop a product b/c their policies change, or they were bought by a larger corp. that does animal testing.
As for the price, often I don't need to pay more for cruelty-free products (depending on the brand, where I buy them etc.) but even when they are more expensive I stay with cruelty-free cosmetics, household cleaners %26amp; such also.
Although I enjoy using cosmetics, lotions, scent %26amp; other niceties, I don't think there's anything 'beautiful' about products that have caused other creatures to suffer. In fact, I find the whole idea kinda ghoulish.Animal Tested Beauty Products!?
Yes, completely. There are cheap brands that arent tested on animals, and they don't hurt you. There is no reason to test cosmetics on animals. They are not an essential for our lives, so why should animals suffer just so I can wear eye shadow?

they probably do not have a wide variety of colors at walmart. You should try a drugstore like CVS.
Write to the companies and tell them what you think. Companies will only provide products based on projected sales (and therefore profits). Products for darker-skinned people are more demanding to formulate because it's harder to color match and provide coverage without looking artificial. The big companies won't invest in them if they don't think it will benefit them or there aren't enough customers to warrant the line.
If you're not Mexican or a Hindu the only thing you'll find at wal-mart is crap.
Wal-Mart doesn't cater to White or Black people, when is everyone going to realize that..

The Wet N Wild products will be less expensive at Walmart so I'd go there first. I know Ulta has them but their prices will probably be the highest so save them for last. I don't know about Sephora though. They are more of a classy adult product store. Their prices would also probably be expensive and they might not carry a lot of wet n wild's products. Can anybody recommend any good organic/natural beauty products and makeup? I have searched around and most of them are too expensive or hard to obtain. ThanksOrganic beauty products?

There are 2 popular organic lines in CVS and Walgreens. You need to look in the store.
Try Sephora (and their website). They have a whole section of natural products, and most of it is super inexpensive.
