Freeman's beauty products, St. Ives ...?

1. Freeman's beautiful face %26gt; avocado %26amp; oatmeal purifying

clay masque

2. Freeman's Sheer moisture %26gt; raspberry, almond %26amp; kiwi lathering facial scrub

a) Is using these products and others in the same brand (Freeman's) as good as getting your own home natural ingredients, crushing them and applying them onto your skin?

b) Which is better, buying the above or preparing my own oatmeal facial from my kitchen?

3. Is St. Ives mineral clay ';firming masque'; good for young skin in their 20's? Or is it for more senior women?

4. The above brands are very much cheaper than say Lancome, estee lauder, and Dermalogica. But is using them as good as these branded cosmetics products? I mean the results.

5. Will it spoil your skin to exfoliate the neck area?Freeman's beauty products, St. Ives ...?
I do not like St Ives and see no results at all after using it.

I think it's better to buy something really good, since you are spending money anyway.

Using natural ingredients are good for relaxation, but it won;t give you lasting results. Masks and creams which are processed have thousands times the amount of ingredients per unit than natural things. They can't compete. If you want to see real results, you should use processed masks and creams, and put vitamins and other things inside of you, by eating them!

There are a selection of really good masks which are cheap, and I like them, try here:

If the prepared, commercial stuff works for you then don't worry about making homemade stuff unless you like to do it.

The advantage of homemade facial products is that they are fresher so some think the skin gets more benefits from the vitamins, acids, etc.

Mineral clay masks are good for combination-oily complexions regardless of age.

High-end products often contain the same or similar ingredients as drugstore products. It's a matter of personal preference and what works for you.

The skin on the neck is delicate therefore your should exfoliate it gently. (i.e. use a gentle scrub w/ rounded beads or ground oatmeal and don't be agressive)

Hope this helps you.
hmm well..i have really oily and dry skin....st ives is a miracle on its own! but use it like once a week...like the weekends...freemans have good masks but honestly, i have never seen a change in my own skin with using it...it feels nice but it doesnt change anything like st ives does. i used the avacado and oatmeal one. i think the younger you are...you should start taking care of ure skin cause it only gets worse..i believe st ives really is the best compared to any of the high end brands cause ive tried those too...and no it wont mess up the nexk area.
I find the St. Ives and Freeman鈥檚 products pretty good, especially the Apricot Scrub from St. Ives and the foot products from Freeman鈥檚. As for exfoliating neck area- don鈥檛 use the grainy stuff, the neck is too delicate for it. If you can make homemade facial products that鈥檚 great, they are probably healthier and less expensive than store bought stuff.
