LUSH beauty products?

I love the LUSH products, but are the only for black people? All the stickers on my products have a black person on them. Thanks!LUSH beauty products?
=] Definitely not...actually the stickers on your products are just telling you who made them and when they expire. So no, it's for anyone who wants to use them. Hope I helped! =]LUSH beauty products?

Ulta Beauty products?

I want to check out an Ulta Beauty store because I've never been there before. I know they have different brands, but which ones are the best? Some are kind of expensive so I don't think I could get those kinds, but let's just say the price doesn't matter ;)Ulta Beauty products?
I havn't been to th eUlta store YET but I did ghet a girt set of Ulta brand products for christmas.

They have many shades of eyeshadow! Spartly and mate, but don't fear the sparkles- I usually go away from them- but I'm glad I got them! They blend well and last long. Great style! Also, they have great lipsticks. I got a few neutral colors, and I LOVE THEM!!!!! Don't care for the gloss in a tube- but I do like the gloss in a plastic square container a lot. I think there is a shade called Gold goddess...

and also, THEY HAVE AMAZING BLUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥? I especially like the off white cream color. I use it as a highlight powder.Ulta Beauty products?
they have lots of drugstore brands and some high end brands like Benefit cosmetics and Smashbox.

Try going to their website:

http://www.ulta.com
That store is pure Heaven .:)

Has anybody used BeautiControl beauty products?

I used them years ago. As I remember, I LOVED their lipsticks. I don't remember thinking that their foundation was the best. But they always had a beautiful collection of glamour items: lipsticks, blushes, eyeshadows.

Beauty products from LUSH?

I've used them and some of the face packs were nice, but if you have sensitive skin, I'd use products for that sort of skin. In theory they should be better because they're more or less completely natural and hand made.

I remember I had a body wash from there that smelled divine!Beauty products from LUSH?
if you're looking for a very good moisturizer, I highly recommend this one for dry skin becuase it works!:

It is totally natural, it is made from 7 natural oils %26amp; 14 herbs, it comes in a big bottle for 拢9.95 I think (%26amp; I'm quite sure free) P%26amp;P: this is the link for more info:

http://www.victoriahealth.com/vhstore/pc鈥?/a>Beauty products from LUSH?
Yeah LUSH is great I use it but I only habe those bath products they r quite nice and smell great! But their products r more like nice smelling decorative pretty smelling stuff. Haven't tried the cosmetics. For dry skin use VICHY re-hydrating creme. It's the best. I'm 100% sure it's the best product for tight dry skin. Enjoy. xoxo
I love their products! Check the source for the ones I have tried and all my reviews on them!
UP YAH BUM!
Yeh, i've used them. Try using dream cream from lush I used to use it when i had eczema.

http://www.lush.co.uk/shop/index.php?mai鈥?/a>
Lush is like my fave shop ever. i come to London like once a year cos i live the other side of England and everytime i do i hafta go to Covent Garden and pop into Lush. i stock up on all their products for the year and spend too much money there. i love everything they sell and use quite alot of their products and am very happy with it. :)
have used loads of lush products and they are fab! or lush as i should say!they last 4 ages, are animal and environmentally friendly, dont cost the earth and do what they say they will!try dream cream for dry skin its full of fab essential oilswhich hydrate the skin beautifully.it comes in a huge tub,so is really good value .
I have bought quite a few product from lush in the past and all work (and smell) great. If your unsure log onto their website and check out their products, failing that the staff in the shops are always helpful and can offer advice as to what to use on your skin. (Currently I'm using 'coalface' soap - great for getting rid of blackheads and blemishes, 'breath of fresh air' toner and 'celestial' moisturiser).

Can anyone help recommend for korean beauty products?thanks^^?

Try products from this korean brand, The Face Shop. Theyhave branches here in the Philippines, and they have awesome products which don't empty out your wallet. Lolz. If you find a branch where you are, you HAVE to try their facial masks. They also sell stuff like stick on rhinestone nailart sheets, cosmetics, bath products, etc etc

    Okay, rate popular beauty products?

Any product that you have found particularly helpful or absolutely overrated share your experiences. This is meant to be informative because there are so many new products on the market right now that it is easy to caught up in the flashy advertising.

Covergirl Wetslicks- A cheaper version of MAC lipglass. Thumbs up

Rosebud Salve-A more expensive version of Vaseline. Thumbs down

Pantene 2-in-1 conditioner- GREAT!!! especially if you have recently dyed your hair. Thumbs up

Aveeno- lasts longer than Jergens and makes even the roughest parts of your body hella soft. Thumbs up

Biore Pore MInimizing face wash- AWESOME!!! I have tried soooo many products and this one manages to make my skin GLOW. Thumbs up

Rimmel Volume Boost Liquid Lipcolor-Thumbs up

lol thats it for now........Okay, rate popular beauty products?
Neutrogena Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes - they remove waterproof mascara in a zip and great on all makeup! They can leave an light oily residue so be sure to wipe off before re-applying mascara and makeup.

Btw, I'm going out today and buying some Biore Pore Minimizing face wash. I've been looking for a good pore-minimizer! Thanks for the tips!Okay, rate popular beauty products?
Aveeno never helped my skin, but maybe because it's quite dry. Not to mention that lotion didn't smell too appealing after it dried. And I have to disagree and say Jergen's lasts a lot longer, plus it smells better and helped with my dry skin.

I'm not sure how popular this is with some girls, but Yves Rocher has a line of products called Hamamelis http://yvesrocherusa.com/control/categor鈥?/a> They don't have it in a bar soap any longer, I got it as a sample in the mail. But whenever I used it my skin was SO soft, especially after exfoliating and it helped with the dryness, sometimes I wouldn't even wear lotion after using it, and I'm one of those people that has to use lotion on her face every day of the year. It was an amazing product, plus their products are all natural and they don't test on animals, they should be more expensive but they're very affordable, especially their sales. I give this product a 10!
    Some products I always use:

Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine hair spray.

Avon's Moisture Therapy extra strength cream.

    Maybeline's Great Lash mascara.

And when I've wanted a perm I've gotten an Iso (won't damage colored or previously permed hair)
JOHN FREIDA BRILLIANT BRUNETTE VOLUMIZING SHAMPOO- THE BEST I'VE EVER USED! IT MAKES MY HAIR SHINIER THAN EVER, FULL AND THICK!

JOHN FREIDA BRILLIANT BRUNETTE SHINE RELEASE DEEP CONDITIONER- THE BEST CONDITIONER EVER! YOU CAN USE IT AS A MASK ALSO AND IT REALLY REVIVES YOUR HAIR!

GLISS CUR INSTANT REPAIR 19- GREAT SPRAY CONDITIONER, WITHOUT RINSE OFF. IT MAKES YOUR HAIR SOFT, BUT NOT LIMP AND SMELLS JUST GREAT!

RIMMEL LIP GLOSSER SHINE HIGH- PUMPS UP THE LIPS AND STAYS ON. ALSO CONDITIONS!

MAX FACTOR FOUNDATION- JUST ADAPTS SO WELL TO THE NATURAL TONE OF UR SKIN AND CREATES AN ALMOST INVISIBLE VEIL, LEAVING YOUR SKIN PERFECTLY SMOOTH AND HIDES ALL THE IMPERFECTIONS!

PROVITAMIN HAIR TREATMENT CAPSULES FOR VOLUME OR INSTANT REPAIR, OR PERMED/COLORED HAIR- 17 VITAMINS AND AMINO ACIDS. ';FEEDS'; YOUR HAIR WITH EVERYTHING IT REALLY NEEDS TO BE HEALTHY(NOT ONLY HEALTHY-LOOKING)

    Recommended Make-up/beauty products?

All of a sudden i'm into real beauty products and stuff like i want to use certain methods that people do to help prevent wrinkles throughout your life. So basically, and i would prefer it if people have tried it out themselves but doesn't matter, any methods like that to help the condition of your skin and any good hairstyles. Also, any reccomended make-up products like eyeshadow and stuff and an actual place referenced where i can get it? sorry getting a bit picky now! but ya know.. i sorta want that eyeshadow cream that just looks like one smooth layer and the really glittery stuff.. so... any tips u may have do tell!Recommended Make-up/beauty products?
These are a few of my favourite products (everything can be found at Sephora, with the exception of the MAC eyeshadow):

    -MAC eyeshadow in 'Amber Lights'

    -Shu Uemura eyelash curler

    -Benefit EyeBright

    -Tarte cheek stain

    -Smashbox Photo Finish Colour Corrector

-Urban Decay eyeshadow in Grifter (this is a shimmery violet that looks amazing with every skin tone)

    -Dior SkinFlash

-All Phyto hair products, especially the daily cream

Also, the best lip balm I have ever used is Carmex. It smells terrible and comes in an ugly package but it's cheap and works wonders. You can buy it in most drugstores.

    As for tips:

-Use satin pillowcases, they're amazing for your hair and skin (satin doesn't pull skin as much as cotton and helps to prevent static-y hair)

    -Drink plenty of water

-Baby your hair and skin; don't touch your face too much and don't use heat styling tools on hair every day.

-Wash your face gently and dab products on, rather than rubbing.

-If you use a hair straightener, get one with ceramic plates instead of metal.

-Never go to bed without removing your makeup first. :)Recommended Make-up/beauty products?
Hey girl if your interested in those things you better try both.... make-up makes you a boy magnet ( and some are using them differently) while you put those on remember to put just enough. cause you dont know whats in those..... wrinkles? well

just remember wats in those stuff.. ( some lipstick has fish scales)

    Hoping u the best make-up
    Those not tested on animals.
I've found maybelline a really good product line, but if you have sensitive skin then clinique is probably a better product line you for.

it depends on your skin type, always buy the most expensive foundation you can afford, youre gonna have it all over your face, I like lancome coz it gives loads of moisture and i have dry skin.

Also great at wrinkles is the olay range, its all relatively cheap but really works, next time youre in boots or somewhere try a little on the back of your hand and see the fine lines disappear

most importantly (and free) be sure not to strain your eyes, this leads to wrinkles round the eyes which doesnt look great
try bourjours range of mascara , available from boots and superdrug
M.A.C is a great makeup line. they have such an assortment of eyeshadow and everything else you want and it feels great on your skin,it doesn't ';cake on'; like the other lines of makeup!

No. Its sexy. And its good for a girl to show pride in herself.Guys...do you think nail polish or other girl beauty products are gross?
    yes
Guys say that they like natural girls. Like without makeup and stuff. Trust me. They have no idea what they like. They most likely have never seen a girl without makeup. Just try to keep everything as natural-looking as possible, but not actually natural.
I think guys always say they like a natural girl but trust me if a girl stopped wearing makeup and focusing on her hair and her clothes and nails and perfume then she'll be a totally different person.

Top beauty tip--quality skin care products and consistancy in using them!!! Start young and this will benefit you your entire lifetime. Limit drinking and don't smoke at all. Enjoy a ';good for you'; diet including lots of fruits and vegetables and minimal fats.

I'm 48 and have been using Avon products for my skin care for the past 9 years. Before that I used Mary Kay. Before that I used various drug store products. The point is that I have taken care of my skin since I was a teen. My wrinkles are minimal. Most of my students, fellow teachers, and acquaintances are surprised to find out that I am nearing 50.

Toning? Daily exercise. That's my tip, but I don't live it like I should. Walk as often and as long as possible.

Tanning? Use accelerators rather than bronzers. Start tanning slowly and work up to longer bed times. Do not become addicted to tanning. Keep in mind the season of the year and the location where you live when trying to determine your optimal skin tone.

Beauty tips--mascara and lip gloss. Don't leave home without them. Those two items alone will play up the best feature of almost all women--eyes and lips. And SMILE! It makes people wonder what you've been up to!

    :)
Eating healthy clears up your skin. So I stay away from junk food.

A good nail varnish is IP Top Hoof.

A good way to tone is just by runing and stretching before and after.

A good tanning product is Jergins Sun Kissed Lotion.

And Aveda has the BEST hair care products.

I'm Interested In Selling Beauty Products Online....?

What do u think would be the first step in starting this as a small business? I know i would have to apply for different licenses and fill out tax forms, etc....but, what should i do first? i would also have to build a website and of course, purchase the products i would like to sell. I'm just not sure exactly what move to make first to get things going at a good start. Any advice i'm sure will help. thanx!I'm Interested In Selling Beauty Products Online....?
    You can do it! Beauty products just happens to be one of the top selling products online. Write down your step-by-step plan on paper. For example;

    1.Create your company name.

    2.Register your name.

3.Form your business structure; Sole Proprietorship.

    4.Obtain your business/occupational license.

5.Obtain your resellers license (sales tax license).

6.Get signed up with beauty products distributors.

7.Choose which products/product lines you are going to specialize in.

    8.Read about the products

9.Decide if you are going to build your own e-store or have it built for you.

10.Choose your domain name with our main keywords in your domain name.

    11.Register your domain name

12.Choose a webhost provider and a hosting plan.

    13.Choose your web development software.

    14.Start building your e-store.

    15.Set up your merchant account.

    16.Complete your e-store.

17.Promote, market and advertise your e-store.

18.Then wait for the orders to start rollin in.

Of course it's not that simple but it can be if you just take it one step at a time. Write a simple step-by-step business plan just as you see here. Then follow each step and then scratch it off of your list as you complete it. Before you know it you'll be taking your first order.

    Hope this helps.

I love Mary Kay products as well. Been using them for many years. My favorites are TimeWise Skin Care, Satin LIips, and Satin Hands. The Hand Cream is the only product that actually keeps my hands moist during the winter and I've tried a lot of them.

Some of the products do contain mineral oil, which I can't say is good or bad but I don't have any trouble with it. It is not an ingredient in the Combo to Oily skin products. Here is a list of the products that do contain mineral oil so if that is a concern of yours, you can avoid them.

If you have any questions about the ingredients of MK products, your consultant can help you. She has access to a list of all the ingredients used as well as what it is used for. Also, while most MK are not professional skin care therapists, they do have access to medical professionals at any time if you have questions or problems. That is another bonus to using Mary Kay. You have a consultant who is there to guide you and help you figure out what you do or do not need.Mary Kay Beauty Products?
Mary Kay is a quality product, I use the Time Wise set. I will probably away use them.
ITS NOT REALLY THE NAME BRAND THAT'S IMPORTANT, IT'S THE INGREDIENTS. MARY KAY CONTAINS MINERAL OIL (WHICH IS HORRIBLE). ASK THE REP. IF SHE HAS SOMETHING OIL-FREE, EVEN IF YOU HAVE DRY SKIN BECAUSE WHEN SOMETHING IS DEHYDRATED (LIKE SKIN AND HAIR) IT NEED WATER, NOT OIL.
I love them %26amp; have used them for over 5 years now!
I love mary kay products. I use them and sell them and if I didn't love them so much and want them at the consultant price, then I wouldn't even bother because trust me.. the other consultants are not easy to deal with. If you start buying, make sure you find a consultant that is not pushy. If you wanna know if they are telling the truth, email me what they say, and as an insider I'll let you know if its true
I used to get some of the products and liked them. Although my sister was telling me that she, as well as other people she knows, have noticed breakout that seems to be associated with the foundation. They do give some nice samples!!
I like their foundation though I havent bought it. I think they're great and some stuff is about the same price as the drugstore. But other stuff is way over priced and you can get something that'll work about the same at a drugstore for less.
If I'm not mistaken, Johnson's Baby Oil is mineral oil too and it's about the gentlest thing around

I work at sally's and the Sexy U hemp and the shimmer are the best ones... I hear good things about them all the time from customers, seeing as I don't tan myself, but I haven't heard back about most of the other products in that line.

You sign up, fill in a profile of your body, hair, face %26amp; the products you use etc... %26amp; then when a product becomes available %26amp; you are chosen to test the product, they'll email you %26amp; usually within a couple of days the product is sent to you via royal mail.

So here's the site http://www.cosmeticresearchonline.co.uk/鈥?/a>I'd like to test beauty products...?

Depending on where you live, see if there are any cosmetic companies by you or any testing centers by you. I work for a cosmetic company and I know we get people to test our products all the time.
I have a limited supply of cream that you can smear all over your face and breasts. It'll cost you though, I'm not cheap.

they sell custom kits, which means you can get six items from their site, these include foundation, brushes, blush, concealor, lip balm, eye shadow, ect.. its a bit more pricy, but an excellant value. its the best makeup ive ever tried, andd ive tried quite a bit.

its usually about 34.65 with shipping included, after discount. [:Where can I find beauty product kits?
Ulta and Sephora usually have a ton of product kits when I go in. Ulta's are usually on the cheaper side but you can sometimes find some great deals on high-end cosmetics in Sephora.
It doesn't includew foundation and cover up but Almay has good eye kits and skin kits but they are sold seperately. Sometimes they are a tad pricey but generally decent. They work well.

  • What natural treatment, or beauty product has worked for you to lessen dark cirles under your eyes?

I read this book I got online. It deals with winkle reduction and skin rejuvenation. It gives you tips on how to keep your skin in better health and beauty. I think this would help with the dark circles under your eyes. I use to get real bad dark circles under my eyes and when I read this book it helped me to realize I was not taking care of my skin. I did not think it was going to help, but it actually did. Take a look at the website and tell me what you think.

Read through the first page and then there is a click here button at the bottom. It takes you to the website and gives you more details. What natural treatment, or beauty product has worked for you to lessen dark cirles under your eyes?

Sleep. Plenty of water. For cosmetics, Physicians Formula makes some great stuff for covering discolorations. They used to have a yellow stick that worked great.
Bobbi Brown has a really great undereye concealer/moisterizer, I think it's kind of expensive though.

Can you buy beauty products from soemwhere like state beauty supply with...?

out a cosmo license ....but with a retail license??Can you buy beauty products from soemwhere like state beauty supply with...?
nope. In order to purchase products from an actual beauty retail supplier, you need your cosmetology/esthetics license.. OR, as long as you have your BUSINESS license, and as a business owner get your license to sell those services to people..

example, you do not do hair for a living but you own a salon -- if you were LICENSED in that -- you can go to that store. they check your license at the door though so make sure you have it handy!

  • Two questions for homemade beauty products!!!?

    first is homemade foundation

2nd is homemade chapstick or something that will moisten my lip quick!!!Two questions for homemade beauty products!!!?
Most people who stick to natural body care solutions don't wear any make-up. However, natural foundations are created with clays, and you can purchase these online or in a local natural store. Make sure to read the ingredients, if you can't pronounce it - research it or don't use it.

Home-made lip balms are really easy. Just use any natural vegetable oil. The harder oils work best - such as palm kernal, coconut, or shea butter. However, liquid oils such as sunflower, olive or jojoba are also quite effective. They just don't seem to penetrate as well as the hard oils. The liquid oils also need to be re-applied more often.

I use coconut with jojoba and a drop of orange essential oil.

Don't use vaseline. It's bleached petroleum and loaded with chemical residues. It was developed from the sludge that forms on the side of the oil rigs - GROSS.Two questions for homemade beauty products!!!?
Try margerin. Firts wet your lips, wipe em' off quick and then moisturize! Or you can do the same thing with vasaline. As for homemade foundation I have no clue!

Beauty products save or splurge ?

what beauty products do you think are worth paying more for and which do you think the cheaper ones do the job just as well? im talking about everything skincare, make up, shower/bath, hair products anything you use for personal groomingBeauty products save or splurge ?
I splurge on make up, i love either shiseido or laura mercier, just the foundation, and powder, then save on mascara and eyeshadow and eye liner(maybeline are good!)

I like a good cleanser dermalogica at the moment but just use witch hazel toner (bottle only costs a few dollars) and a vitamin e cream as moisturiser (not too expensive either!)

Shampoo and conditioner i alternate between salon and supermarket stuff.Beauty products save or splurge ?
i splurge on perfumes, face powders, lip balms and eye shadows.

i save on nail polish, eyeliner, mascara, shampoo, blush etc
I save on shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioning treatments, hair spray, razors, body lotion. But I do like to spend on make up as I find the cheaper one's really aren't any good. I also splurge on Paul Mitchell super skinny serum but I use so little I bottle lasts a year so I don't know if that count's as splurging.
I used to use cheap foundations but Ive discovered that more expensive ones do the job a lot better!
    ok..... save on

    make up remover

cleanser (if your skin is dry)

moisturiser (if your skin is oily)

    eyeliner PENCIL

    lip stick/gloss/salve

    blusher

by that list i'm sure you can work out whats worth spending on.

but just to make it clear...splurge on foundation and concealer, liquid eyeliner, sun screen, and cleanser if your skin's oily, and moisturiser if you skin is dry, also mousse and serum and heat protection sprey for your hair.
Watch How To Look Good Naked.... then check out their web site, you Will be well amazed, especially by the price of the products everyday women tested. CH 4... I'm male and watch it with g/f really good program, Men next I hope..
    Depends on your skin.

Beauty Products .. Chemical or Natural ?

I recently discovered that parabens and certain alcohols found in many beauty products (ex. moisturizers) were bad for the body because of cancer risks.

If they are bad, why do doctors use them? and why do derms reccommend them to ppl?Beauty Products .. Chemical or Natural ?
The reason why they use it is because theyr are preservative, that helps the products exist on shelves, but there is a limit on the amount that the FDA approves to have in the products.

Now concious companies such as Arbonne are aware of this and are reformulating their products to zero Parabens, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, Mineral Oil, PABA, Petrolatum, Paraffin, Diethanolamine, Animal-Derived IngredientsBeauty Products .. Chemical or Natural ?
    Cosmetic reasons.

I would personally prefer natural products (even though I don't use them)

OH MY GOD THERE IS A SPIDER ON MY MONITOR

    Okay.

I would prefer natural products because I have very fair and sensitive skin, and I would imagine natural products would be more gentle.

Currently I'm using Neutrogena oil free gentle scrub every night with a Neutrogena Clear Pore mask once a week and moisturizing with Clean %26amp; Clear oil free moisturizer, and I'm liking this regimen.

what products are best for making skin clearer and keeping spots away ?What are best beauty products ? ?
    Fruit, veg and red meat.

It is what the human body was designed to consume - you wanna argue with Mother Nature?

Any type of makeup or cream is just chemicals pumped into your body, why not drink crude oil and hope for the best?!!!What are best beauty products ? ?
The best products for this purpose contain NO synthetic chemicals. They are organic natural products and they have some powerful skin cleansers, conditioners and treatments:

    http://www.saferalternative.com

    See particularly:

    Soothing Couperose Gel (broken capillaries/redness)

A strengthening treatment for sensitive skin with ultra-soothing organic plant extracts. Contains fortifying and toning horsechestnut, soothing st john's wort, calming chamomile and astringent and toning witch hazel to help reduce a red blotchy appearance.

    Purifying Blemish Gel (blemishes/pimples/cuts)

A potent and powerful blend of healing and calming organic herbs and flowers, including purifying thyme, healing plantain, clarifying echinacea and soothing marshmallow. Contains the potent properties of organic lavender, lemon myrtle from country Queensland and tea tree from the forests in northern New South Wales.

    Probiotic Skin Brightener

Probiotic bacteria ferment organic whole grains and legumes to release nutrients and create a naturally occuring, extremely mild, lactic liquid which is known to restore and protect the skin's acid mantle, lighten and brighten the complexion, improve photodamaged skin, exfoliate dead skin cells for a smoother, less-wrinkled appearance, help break down impurities, whilst bringing moisture, clarity

    Purifying Mineral Mask (oily/problem skin)

Specifically formulated for problem skin with natural green clay, organic echinacea and witch hazel to tone and purify the skin. Contains the wonderful properties of organic lavender, lemon myrtle from country Queensland and tea tree from the forests in northern New South Wales.

Note: These are not cheap products - BUT they are less expensive than some 'premium' brands that are full of chemicals and known toxic ingredients. You can check out a list of toxic ingredients here (don't fall for the marketing hype that big TV and magazine brands use):

Proactive refining mask works well for clearing up blemishes overnight and reducing redness. As far as cleansers look for something oil free, but nothing harsh with tons of alcohol. Overdrying of the skin will actually cause your body to produce even more oil. Plus you will have to deal with irritation. Benzoyl Peroxide seems to be the most effective in preventing acne. I also use proactive daily oil control after i was my face to get rid of shine and greasy look.
juice beauty and pangea both have great cleansers and moisturizers

and afterglow makes the best organic mineral makeup that is good for the skin! so it doesn't promote breakouts or spots :)

Really, I don't see anything wrong with it as long as he doesn't take it to the extreme by trying on her make-up and applying lipsticks and different shades of eyeliners.

Guys these days are more sensitive to aging just as much as we women are and since men don't really have a that many ';beauty supplies'; in the drug store aisle, they like to try the women's' night creams and stuff.

I duuno why he'd want to use women's deodorant and body washes though when there are so many men's products out there on the market. Unless he is just curious, which is ok as long as it doesn't become habitual!

Clean %26amp; Clear combination of products to keep acne away.

Loreal Feria to tone down my red hair %26amp; add dimension.

Clinique foundation %26amp; blush %26amp; their applicator brushes.

Oil of Olay moisturizers for my face. Aveeno lotion for my legs %26amp; arms.

Fiberwig by Imju mascara~ it really does lengthen my lashes.

    Vaseline to remove eye makeup.

A simple facial with warm water %26amp; oatmeal to make my skin feel soft %26amp; help with redness or itching.

OPI nail polishes because I love their selections %26amp; love their cute names~ %26amp; it lasts a long time too.

What are the/your best beauty products?
I use the Oil Free Acne Cleanser with Microclear Technology by Neutrogena. It's in an Orange bottle. Make sure it says ';With Microclear Technology'; on it. It's somewhere between 7 - 9$ at Target. And always moisturize your skin if it feels tight. I use the Soft Day Moisturizer with SPF 15 by Clean and Clear. It's, also, somewhere between 7 - 9$ at Target. Cleanse your face twice a day, once when you wake up and once before you go to bed.
The best beauty product is the products that keep your skin clear and clean. They must not be harsh on your face, if anything, it should improve the look of your skin. Personally, I prefer Artistry skin care line for my face, and Dove body wash. Artistry products are sold by an independent business owner. If interested, contact Fhasidi@qbeauty.com. Good luck!
Nivea face washes and toners - so gentle but work really well at keeping my acne at bay.

Avon skin so soft moisturizers - so soft and smell lovely and a good price!

Benefit for make-up - I love the cute packaging, let alone the fantastic colours and coverage from their products, I always feel a million dollars :]

    Hope this helps :]

If you break out in a rash, it could be for a lot of reasons, not necessarily the product. Its trial and error for any product, you just have to find the right one for you.

I love natural hair. Some times I want a straight look. I am using bodiphier.www.freshlookhair is the website. It鈥檚 a natural relaxer that鈥檚 made out on vitamins, minerals, water, and etc.. I love it because it doesn鈥檛 burn, and no chemicals is added. It鈥檚 self neutralize. I can scratch my hair the same day and not worry about burns. It鈥檚 super soft. It doesn鈥檛 break the bonds in your hair. It causes your hair to straighten by 85% which allows you to keep your natural hair texture. You can wear your natural hair because bodiphier loosens the bonds in your hair instead of breaking them like traditional perms and relaxers. Say goodbye to split ends because my hair is healthy. If I want to wear a straight look, just blow dry and press your hair. It鈥檚 very silky when you go for the straight look. It will not frizz up in humidity. I am taking hair vitamins, natural relaxers, and natural products like jojoba oil. I plan to try products like carols daughter for my hair www.carolsdaughter.com

Ladies! how much do you spend in beauty products for the month?

and are you upset at such a grievous waste of money?Ladies! how much do you spend in beauty products for the month?
i don't count on how much i spend.....Ladies! how much do you spend in beauty products for the month?
It depends. I just spent $100 on moisturizer today. And, no, I don't think it's a waste of money. Taking care of myself properly is important. I always want to look my best.
not a single cent, I'm not using any beauty products. I'm just so comfortable with how I am
none...I dont need beauty products :D im naturally pretty

all i use iz lip gloss......but i get stuff done lyke nails n hair but i dont buy beauty products
not much cause my lipgloss be poppin and i do not need much of anything but some witchhazel cotton balls and lipgloss an a lil eyeshadow, when i wanna jump outta my box
I honestly don't buy makeup monthly: I spend maybe $25 or less once every 3 or four months: whenever I'm running out of stuff.

And I don't think it's a waste of money because I like to look nice. I don't always wear makeup: especially if I'm sick.

If it makes you feel good and it's not terribly expensive: why not?
Enough money. And if you were a girl, you would understand. So there, Mr. grievous man.
basic needs...like shampoo, soap and so on.. I have super short hair so I don't use very much and I always buy suave which is like 89 cents a bottle...or so...Nothing really..
i don't wear makeup, just lip gloss.
not a waste of money, your dumb becasue if your girlfriend didnt smell nice and have nice hair and shaved legs and pretty soft feet and clear skin you stop seeing her, and dont try to front like your higher than that becasue nobody is, we are all creatures of beauty and want to be mext to beauty

p.s. if you know how to shop you dont have to spend ';grievious'; amounts of money either...

    ps.s.i spend about 25$
Hmm if lucky $2.00 a year so i can buy

    lip gloss lol

And yes i am upset on how much i spend i should

be aloud to spend a little more hehe!!!!
probably about $40 - moisturizer and deodorant !
It all depends on your definition of money wasting! I spend roughly $15 every month on beauty products. This includes shampoo, tooth paste, make up, lotion, ya da ya ya. I do not consider that a waste of money and most certainly not grievous! I view those items as necessary for a healthy and well-groomed look.

I do agree with you that some women spend way too much: expensive hair cuts, highlighting, nails, eye-brow treatments, fake nails...
    I spend about $20.00 a month.Shampoo,hairspray, and makeup.
it depends if i'm getting my hair and nails done, and no, i like treating myself to nice things that i enjoy!
$0 dollars... I dont have the money (or inclination) to waste on frivolous vanity. About the only thing I buy every month would be... well I am sure you can figure it out. If people don't like me for who I am and what I look like naturally they can F off for all I care. Make-up is gross anyway.. It makes me sneeze, makes my eyes water and basically feels very uncomfortable for me. I am happy with myself the way I look without make-up, and I am glad to be that way.

PS in my 23 years of life I have probably only spent $30 on make-up. About the only time I use it is for a wedding... or Halloween. Of course I am not including things like deodorant, shampoo, razors, soap, toothpaste.. those I consider necessities of personal hygiene and not ';beauty products'; per se.
I'm a cheap kind of chick so i'd say 10 bucks a month or less.
its not really monthly for me, its whenever my makeup runs out and usually it lasts for months......and its not a waste of money

Ha you had bad experience as well with the 'yves rocher'; beauty products?

Oh my gosh, they're really bad. You buy them cheap and they come cheap. Guess what you pay is what you get.Ha you had bad experience as well with the 'yves rocher'; beauty products?

  • Far too much of attension and money are spent on beauty products and treatments.?

Do you agree?Far too much of attension and money are spent on beauty products and treatments.?
Yes I do. Ppl pay TOO much attention on spending a huge amount of money to products and treatments.I feel that make up is like disguising yourself from what you really are. I am not saying that we should not use make-up, but TOO much of a good thing is BAD!!!! Intresting question. Have a star!!!!Far too much of attension and money are spent on beauty products and treatments.?
No and at least it's harmless - alto of money is frittered away on gambling for example. A friend of mine spends a fortune collecting memorabilia of his favorite soccer team. it's his money so he can do what he likes. No body puts a gun to your head and makes you buy or gamble or spend you cash on booze or whatever.
    yes
Yes, I agree. All the wasted money should be saved and donated to countries who cannot afford soap, and barely have enough water to survive.
yes i agree i have got better things to spend my money on
i agree, but i also find it somewhat irritating that people ask questions like this. if people want to spend all that money to look good, let them! its not your problem and you need to concentrate on yourself.

Psoriasis - Help on beauty products?

My sons girlfriend has psoriasis. Her face is clear but her hairline is really bad and she is very concious of this. Are there any hair products that really help? At present she just uses any shampoo/conditioners/styling products. I would like to buy her something nice for her birthday which would help.Psoriasis - Help on beauty products?
Well, I donno how nice it is, but Neutrogena's T-gel works for me.Psoriasis - Help on beauty products?
She really needs to get help from a dermatologist. What works for some people doesn't work for others. Some people can be helped with just a medicated shampoo, others a prescription shampoo - or are, like me, and need to use a prescription lotion for the scalp which is very strong.
    my uncle has that.

    he bought a tanning bed.

    tanning gets rid of it!

bus theres tons of like moisturizers.

    but i don't have it, so i don't know a good one..
It is nice of you to want to help, but different things work for different people. I use Protopic, but it is a prescription. None of the over-the-counter shampoos or conditioners, or portions with tar or whatever worked for me. I wear bangs.

My hairdresser said Nioxin worked for some people -- buy it at the beauty supply place, but it never worked either. I have psoriasis all over the body and am keeping that in check with prescribed medication. (but the scalp is still not clear)
I used to get this but not any more. I wash my hair with Head %26amp; Shoulders and pay particular attention to my hairline and behind my ears. Once or twice a week is sufficient with normal cosmetic shampoo for the rest of the time.

When I was first diagnosed with it, I was prescribed a shampoo called Polytar which worked well, but my hair smelled like a roadworks!
i have psoriasis on my scalp. ask her to get plenty of sun, it really helps. an keep the area moisturize coz dry skin will make it worse.
i use Neutrogena's T-gel it seems to calm it down,
Here's some information that may help: http://www.cosmeticscop.com/learn/art.as鈥?/a>
exorex which is a range of lotions which are apparently very good do a shampoo which may help. worth a try. its available to buy in pharmacies, not sure it comes under the category ';nice'; but its quite expensive (拢10 or so) so reasonable bday pressie.
Go to the body shop ask them, and they will give you a really good shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer that will help.

How did the princesses n the queens used to take care of their beauty?what was their beauty care products?

Depends when you are talking about.

From about the 15th through the 18th century, they didn't bathe at all, or maybe once a year, they used lead powder for their faces and wigs, and generally shaved their heads (to avoid lice) and wore wigs, which became increasingly elaborate until they were so tall in the 18th century...well, just look up Marie Antoinette, and you'll get an idea.

In the 18th century, women also took drugs, like opiates, to make their eyes dilate and look more beautiful.

(ps...lead is a poison...so, not such a great ';beauty care product';. It ate the skin and caused early death)How did the princesses n the queens used to take care of their beauty?what was their beauty care products?
I don't know so much about makeup, other than it was more natural makeup from plants and herbs. They bathed probably once or twice a year if they weren't lucky, probably 4-5 times if they were. So they used lots of perfume to keep down the stinky smells. They used lots of powder on their faces and hair. A lot of princesses and queens would have really big, poofy hair that was really tall, to make them look bigger and better than everyone else. Their baths usually took hours because there was so much powder in their hair and on their skin. Hope that helps for whatever you're doing. How did the princesses n the queens used to take care of their beauty?what was their beauty care products?
It depends what period we are talking about. Queen Elizabeth I for instance whitened her complexion with a lotion made from egg-whites, powdered egg-shell, alum, borax, poppy seeds and mill water. She had her hair washed in lye, a mixture of wood-ash and water. A white complexion with red cheeks and lips was the fashionable look in her day. Rouge made from cochineal (which was very expensive) might be used to redded the cheeks and lips, or vermillion or rose madder could also be used. Kohl was used to darken the eyelashes. Ladies wore perfume, and many ladies distilled their own, every house that was large enough had its own still-room.

During Queen Victoria's reign, cosmetics became unfashionable, the natural look was admired, and cosmetics came to be associated with 'fast' women and with prostitutes. Ladies would still have used perfume though.

People did bathe in the Tudor period, all Elizabeth I's palaces had bathrooms with indoor plumbing for example. But bathing did decline in popularity during the 17th and 18th centuries.
Queen Elizabeth I used white lead to make her skin pure white. Then she would paint eyebrows on, and paint her lips and the result would look like a mask. During the day, the lead would crack! Either the lighting was too poor for people to notice, or people were too polite to say! She was also completely bald, and had several wigs, one of which was made of bright green silk.
    Henna for the hair.

Lamb skin oil (lanolin) for the complexion.

    Jeweller's rouge for colour.

Rose, lilac or other plant water for perfume.

    Baking soda for body odour.
Please narrow your question down! Princesses and queens of where? And when? As it stands, your question could be about anything from Ancient Egypt to Princess Pocahontas.
they use all natural beauty care from garden, kitchen you can use same product from your own home you don't need to put all this chemical on your face they give all kind of problem

What professional beauty product is the best?

im looking to open a salon.....i was wondering what beauty line people like best....i want to carry only one line in my salon. i like paul mitchell and redken those are the main ones ive worked with.....but i want to know what the client loves....what do you like best? What professional beauty product is the best?
The one I think is really good is the Bio group. I am sorry the name has gone from my head. But when you come out of a salon you want to look good and your hair to smell good and those are fresh smelling and give you a clean feeling. What professional beauty product is the best?
LOMA!!! LOMA!!! LOMA!!! they are the only company that doesnt have water as their 1st ingredient,it aloe. it rehydrates hair much better. as a hairdresser you should know that your hair is at it weekest when wet. so the water in the products actually dehydrate kinda oxymoronic, lol.
you must must must stock tigi bedhead products, and Keraste. I think that they are the best products. They are upmarket and perform well.

I can always tell if a salon is any good just by observing what brand products they stock. And i would consider that most salons stocking these products is good.
Different products work for different kinds of hair, right? I've never been in a salon that only sells one line, although I've been in a salon that only sells 2 or 3. I use KMS shampoo, Pearatin, I've used Scruples... I think it would be a waste of your time to only sell one line.
honestly, I think that sounds kinda boring. It would be like having cheerios......or cheerios for breakfast. Yeah, rather uneventful, right? I think you should carry a few lines at least. Also, you need to remember that you will be working with men as well. They will probably want american crew or something like it. Thats what my hubby uses and he loves it! good luck

    Handmade beauty products?

Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my products out into the mainstream. I make quality prouducts like Shea Butter, Pediucre Foot Soak, and other products using quality oils like, Grapeseed, Sweet Almond, etc. My focus is to offer people quality products without all the preservatives and additives they put in cosmetics over the shelf with ingredients people cant even pronounceHandmade beauty products?
    ebay...

or start with a stall.. or open up a shop or u can go door to door like these kleeneze..

but u know what i thought of ur idea before i think its really interesting, where are u from???

    im ur first customer lol

u need to use the computer and internet to promote your business.. because the problem with these type of shops is that theyre hidden

first months would b quite bad u wait till u get customer loyalty, people feeling confident about ur product.. u should offer free samples..

ur message or slogan should be something connected to it being all natural... UNLIKE other cosmetics stores e.g BOOTS lol

i think its a very good idea.. and if u make good promotion and start.. and have belief in the business u will hopefully be successful ..

i wish u the best of luckHandmade beauty products?
Warning: The FDA will try to stop you!!!!!! or at least get in the way of your getting any NATURAL stuff out. If THEY can't make money from it, they will make it difficult for you.

Try selling it locally first. Talk to managers in the different stores (like beauty supplies) around you and see if they will sell it for you... They will probably want a 15-20% cut. You could also get involved at flea markets....

    Just a suggestion

Though it's kind of expensive, I like bumble and bumble shampoo and conditioners. For styling, chi is the best by far. Their products are amazing! Make-up, definately bare minerals hands down. It looks awesome and my skin has never been more healthy. Tanning lotion, worship me by designer skin. Smells good and you get an instant tan that isn't orange. Face moisturizer, olay with a touch of sun. There is no streaking or orange tone and it works for dry skin from tanning.
john frieda for my hair and i have loads of beauty favourites. i like clinique facial washes and other products
Rimmel Mascara and their other eye makeups. I love products by Olay.
you should use humectant shampoo and conditionar. its all from target and its the best stuff around. it smells great and its really good if you want shiny smooth hair (who doesnt?). its also really cheap. it was number 1 on the best hair products in some magazine (i cant member) you should really use this. take it from some one who has used it for 3 years. lol its great!
Favorite shampoo/conditioner- Matrix Sleek Look... It used to be Herbal Essences until a stylist told me it has detergent in it and strips your hair of natural oils.

Hair Products- Frizz Ease Wind Down Cream, Silk Elements Hair Gel (no flaking or crunching), BioSilk Serum (best thing I've ever found to straighten my hair).

My other favorite products are Neutrogena Visably Even Moisturizer, PanOxyl Acne Wash, cream blush, Carmex chapstick, Revlon Cream Shadow, Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask.
